Gamine abandonnée qui est passée de famille d'accueil en famille d'accueil, Reese n'a pas beaucoup de repères de sa vie d'avant. Elle a grandi, eu une scolarité relativement bonne si on omet ses problèmes de comportement et son défi constant de l'autorité. Ensuite ? Des petits boulots à droite à gauche dans l'espoir de se faire une place quelque part sans jamais y parvenir.
2015 - 2019
S'extirpant très tôt de Seattle, Reese passe la majorité de son apocalypse dans les environs du sud de l'état, allant d'une ville à l'autre. Elle fait plusieurs rencontres, parfois bonnes, parfois mauvaises. C'est en 2017 qu'elle croise la route de Christina et rejoint son groupe dans la journée.

2020
Le camp de Christina tombé à la mort de celle-ci, Reese retrouve Lucette et les routes en compagnie d'un jeune garçon nommé Liam. Ce dernier devient son ami. C'est cependant en juin 2020 que Liam se fait tuer pendant qu'elle se dérobe a une tentative de viol. Elle erre sans but plusieurs mois avant de rejoindre Seattle en novembre, puis la Cage dans la foulée.
